Field Service Engineer

For our international installation team, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer who enjoys being on the road, takes responsibility, and gains energy from technically challenging work.
Field Service Engineer
As a Field Service Engineer, you are the primary technical contact for our hydrogen refueling stations. You ensure that our installations operate flawlessly—from installing new systems to resolving complex issues on-site. You work in the field, often independently, but always supported by a skilled team. In this role, you combine hands-on technical work with responsibility, variety, and the satisfaction of making a real impact on the energy transition.
What will you be doing?
- Analyze malfunctions based on data, manuals, and reports.
- Order parts and arrange logistics such as transport, materials, and accommodation when needed.
- Installation & Commissioning
- Assemble components and piping systems (air, water, oil, electricity).
- Test and verify the complete installation to ensure everything runs optimally.
- Troubleshooting
- Identify mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic issues.
- Perform repairs or replace components to restore installations quickly.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Perform inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent failures and improve performance.
- Reporting & Improvement
- Accurately document findings and actively contribute ideas for technical improvements and optimizations.
What do you bring?
- A technical vocational education (MBO), such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or AOT.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in the industrial or energy sector.
- A customer-oriented mindset and clear communication style.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel, including internationally, as well as participation in on-call services.
- A valid driver’s license (B).
