Senior PLC Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software installation components and infrastructure elements. In this role, you will become part of an innovative software team. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure our systems meet the highest quality and safety standards. With your experience, you will elevate the team to a higher level and serve as a source of knowledge and inspiration.
Your Key Responsibilities

Actively participate in the design and architecture process to build robust and secure PLC systems that meet the specific requirements of hydrogen refueling stations.

Translate customer specifications into innovative technical solutions.

Lead subprojects and ensure smooth execution and planning.

Validate, test, and optimize software components to guarantee top quality.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with European guidelines.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Handle ad-hoc situations and independently manage your schedule and priorities.
What You Bring
-
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Proven experience in software development, preferably within industrial automation or technical software.

Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as C#, C++, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.

Affinity with mechanical and electrical principles and software integration.

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
